... I'm posting this (rather long) history of how I finally solved my hemorrhoids problem in the hopes it will help people who are still trying to figure it out.
I'm a 58 year old man in good health and at the correct weight for my height. I'm not on any prescription drugs, I eat sensibly and work out at least 2-3 times a week.

All the preps cause burning of the anus from going so many times...I usually hop into the tub and use a hand shower to relieve some of the burning...then apply a hydrocortisone cream.

... It was scary, but went well in the long run - I had a few small polyps which were removed. I have to say this is a wonderful test - because it doesn't just diagnose!
