... My advice would be to go with what your doctor said if it starts to bother u too much. There are different methods of none evasive surgery such as injection(as your doctor mentioned), rubber banding, cryotherapy and such.
I have had the latter 2 with good results.
I would think 1 single hem would not need hemorhoidectomy. What grade is your hem(1,2,3 or 4)?
