... My understanding, I have the same problem, is that it can be from a bile problem, which could be gall bladder etc due to the bile, or that it sometimes can happen with just plain old irritable bowel syndrome. Its a good thing that your blood came out good. (3 replies)

... Is it true that Tan colored stool or slightly yellow colored stool could be a sign/symptom of a bowel obsturction? My stool has been looser, and light brown/tan colored and looks yellow on TP when I wipe for the last few months. Is this a symptom of a bowel obstruction or something else.
