Need some help
Mar 5, 2014
I thought I could deal with this problem on my own but it appears that I can't.

For about two weeks now I've had a varying array of problems. At first, one night I just started to feel a little dizzy. It passed after an hour. The very next day I was almost constantly dizzy and started to have problems concentrating, followed by headaches. Within a couple of more days I started having blurry vision in one of my eyes. I kept feeling this strange sensation in my eye like something was there, and the lymph node behind my left ear was swollen. I was told that could mean an infection of some kind, probably in my left eye.

I very rarely get sick and when I do I usually wait it out until it goes away. Well this problem wasn't going away and after a week someone gave me an antibiotic called Amoxicillin. Then for no particular reason, the very next day I started to feel a lot better. No headaches, no vision problems, nothing. That lasted for about two days. Then it came back, but this time the weird sensation left one eye and for some reason moved to the other, and my scalp would go numb, I would get dizzy and disoriented, and start to make stupid mistakes.

That went on for a few days, and now it's upgraded to not only making my scalp go numb and disorienting me, but also a slight burning sensation in my scalp. Actually I'm experiencing it right now as I type this message. I'm still on the amoxicillin.

It happens every day but not all of the time every day. There are hours out of the day where I feel perfectly fine. The hours after I wake up is when I feel my best. Still a little disoriented but nothing compared to when I'm having an "attack". I need some advice on what this problem may be. I'm an extremely private person who doesn't do well at all in public locations, such as a hospital. I'll go if I need to, but I would like to know if anyone has a guess for what's wrong with me. Honestly this is worrying me a lot, I've never had a problem like this before.

I also hope I've posted this in the right location. Headaches and blurry vision seem to be a brain problem. I'd appreciate any help or advice. The people I know are treating it like it's not a big deal, but it feels like one to me.
