... Hi Willow, My surgeon decided to do an MRI of both breast the day before my surgery. I was a wreck and did not know why he all of a sudden needed this since my abnormal mammo was for my right breast and I already had my pre admission tests done. I think the MRI is the best way to go for you. It takes about 45 min and you do get an IV started and have to lay on your stomach... (2 replies)
