... till have the lump and i guess that the good thing is that it hasnt grown...but lately for the past 2 months, when i have my period my left underarm tends to get swollen and it hurts. ... Minnie, you need to be your best advocate and get this checked out by your doctor. Do not let the doctors tell you have nothing to worry about because of your age. Age really has nothing to do with breast cancer these days, women your age are fighting this disease as we speak. Insist on a mammogram and ultrasound. (3 replies)
... Start with a mammogram and go from there. You can schedule yourself for one (without doctor orders) that will give you a baseline of where your breasts are at. (3 replies)
... Hi Minnie - I agree that your age makes it improbable that you would have breast cancer. However, you are understandably concerned about the lump and underarm soreness. Stress can cause illness all by itself, so my advice would be to go to a oncologist-gyn to check this. He has experience in this area and can either reassure you or suggest that you have an ultrasound or... (3 replies)
... Go see your doctor-most likely it is just an infection that needs some antibotic treatment. Try putting a warm moist compress a couple of times a day. This may help the abscess to drain. (1 replies)
... to the dr and they just gave me some antibiotics, well the blister did eventually go away but there is a "hole " there and everytime the breast gets painful and swollen I notice a hair in that hole and so I pluck it and then pus comes out and it somewhat releives the pressure. ...
