... It sounds like some sort of injury. I had a spindle cell sarcoma in my leg--it did NOT ever hurt, grew rapidly and noticeably (noticed big changes in the lump over several months) and my doctor excised it to test it. ... thanks for the reply: here is some info on it. it's a hard lump probably about 1/2" - 3/4" in diameter and is fixed in place. it is very deep in my side just about 2" below my ribs towards my back. i can't really feel it unless i bend my trunk to the right (like a sidebend). when i am standing upright, you can barely tell it's there.
