... You should be glad you have no pain. CTS hurts and can be very hard to deal with. Not only the weakness but pain that you wish would go away. Maybe the hormones you have for being pregnant are working towards you eventually getting cts, but for now I'd say you just have weakness due to pregnancy. ... (1 replies)

... A lot of pregnant women get carpal tunnel. The hormones, estrogen and progesterone are all changed from "normal" and this can affect the thyroid hormone causing carpal tunnel. It can also be just the retention of water, which happens when you are pregnant, and all this water retention must impinge on the median nerve. ... (4 replies)
