... I have an appt to see the hand surgeon on March 14. I'm sure he is going to want to do the CT surgery. I don't know about the elbow though. The doctor that did the EMG test said there wasn't any nerve damage, maybe just tendonitis. The EMG came out that I have carpal tunnel in the hand. Just have to wait I guess to see the doctor now. The EMG's always registered different numbers, and the doctor said it might be scar tissue or something that was not done properly the first time. ... Today I received some papers in the mail from the hospital/surgeons office. I need to have a pre-op exam through my family doctor before they schedule the surgery. EKG, blood test, chest xray. Plus I have to sign a consent form and fill out some other health related questions about past surgeries etc. I know I am healthy but I guess this is routine.

... Yes it can. Both my arms hurt so severely before CT surgery that I actually had less pain in them the very day of surgery after the anaesthetic wore off than before surgery. But I would recommend seeing a doc asap & getting some books from the library on repetitive stress syndrome.
