... What were your cholesterol numbers before going back on Lipitor? There are alternatives to statins. CoQ10 should be taken if on a statin too, although I don't think that'd help with depression much. Some Omega 3s (fish oil) may help with depression. But if Lipitor is the cause, I suggest asking your doctor for one of the alternatives (different statin or red yeast rice,... (9 replies)

... Any vitamin shoppe or health food store should sell CoQ10. Most pharmacies do too, but their prices tend to be a rip-off. Look for a brand that uses Kaneka CoQ10, and if taking it as a dry capsule, consume it with fats. If in a softgel, it'll have fats already in there. (27 replies)
