... Fish oil helps triglycerides and LDL particle sizes. I don't think it really has any benefits for reducing total LDL amount, but it can help inflammation, so it probably is worth taking regardless. High dose fish oil (3 grams + daily omega) can even sometimes raise LDL, so the dosage you are at now probably would be okay, just for general health reasons. Oat bran can help... (3 replies)
