If, however, you're feeling "supplement deprived," a daily dose of fish oils to provide 1000 mg Omega-3 oils will raise your HDLs QUITE a bit. For your LDL's, eliminating ANYTHING with the word HYDROGENATED might be the single best easy thing to try. (2 replies)

... Have you tried Red Yeast Rice (Nature's Plus) to lower your LDL? Your Niacin should be Flush Niacin; if so, yes, ramping up slowly to 1500mg or higher should raise your HDL.
