... mmvic, I've read on the internet about a lot of problems with contamination and adulteration of many Asian or Chinese supplements. Many contain unlisted prescription drugs, steroids - other 'bad' stuff. Here is some info. from the Source Natural bottle: Source Naturals Red Yeast Rice is citrinin-free and standardized to 1.5% mixed mevinolinic acid monacolins.
