... Maybe they are thinking on the lines of warm things for a cold/flu; like hot tea, soups. Sometimes cold things can actually make your throat more uncomfortable and hurt going down. Warm things will keep the head opened up more and warm you up! Just an idea. Should really eat/drink whatever sounds best to YOU. (2 replies)
