... Lydia, I am going to assume from your post that you have never yet had a colonoscopy. Your history alone suggests that you should have had one long before this. I don't know what age your mom had precancerous polyps removed, but with your grandfather dying from colorectal cancer and your mom having polyps you NEED to get in to the doctor and be seen.
