... Hey Hoping4best, my dad just had colorectal surgery about 2 weeks ago and is at home slowly recovering. When he was admitted to the hospital, they said people are usually in the hospital for 3-4 days with this type of surgery. . The surgeon said he would be in 7 days easy. And my dad was in for 8 days, and the man beside him was in for 7 days. I guess what i am trying to say... (302 replies)

... Hi Thankyou for replying. Yes, you have described the pain exactly, and sometimes it feels that it is linked to using my bladder. It is now 7 weeks and that has eased up, but with the coughing and sneezing, I think, there is a back problem, but that is also easing. I feel for you and wish you well with your recovery.
