... I am sorry that your mother is going through this. I would think the next step would be a colonoscopy. Her CEA levels are slightly raised but as she is a smoker, not much outside acceptable limits. A colonoscopy would certainly rule out the possibility of colorectal cancer. ... (1 replies)

... I guess you take it one day at a time for here on out and treasure each day. Be thankful for the lack of pain. My dad is on a 2nd line chemo drug now, Tarceva, but his is lung cancer.
