... It could be ascites, which is basically fluid accumulating in areas. Spots on the liver don't always mean cancer. It sounds like you are having problems with constiptation. I wish you the best of luck and let us know what you find out. ... (3 replies)

... Dear Stage IV Survivor: What about a PET Scan to determine if the spots are really cancer--or spots, scar tissue, shadows, etc.? A PET will be more accurate and able to tell you what cells are abnormal.
