... Thank you for sharing your story!! Is it safe to take a salted bath when you have an open wound that is still leaking? Gosh, I really don't want to do ANOTHER surgery. ... Stitches came loose 2 days out. Wound separated. Bleeding not intense, but swelling on this left side was bad. Took another 2 weeks for area half way up to close and heal. PS said no big deal. She's protecting herself as all I could do was ask her why she cut so far down in area asked her specifically not to. Yeast infection also. GYN says anatomically things are healed... (4 replies)

... you girls should take Arnica tablets. You can buy them at whole foods as well. They promote healing and they deff helped me out alot. They are tiny little mints that you put under your tounge and you let dissolve. I hope things work out for you both. Your in my prayers. (14 replies)

He also said to wash it with soap/water from day one, and to cover it up (with ointment & gauze/sterile pad). He never told me anything about letting it breath as much as possible. ... MissLove- Did your surgeon tell you from day one when you had the surgery done to use ointment on it? Im just wondering because where i went they told me to make sure that no lotion or ointment went anywhere near the stiches. I wondered the same way about it constantly being wet/moist in that area and how it would heal in those conditions. But..... mine seemed to day by... (14 replies)
