... No to any recent incidents or a mammogram. The orignal Dr was in CA. I have started looking into finding one out here. They are saline so it just made me extra hydrated for a bit. (5 replies)

... More than likely its capsular contracture. The breast tissue hardens after the implants drop- and this causes extreme pain. This is sometimes the result of a doctor who didnt place them correctly. Are they submuscular or under the skin? Go see your doctor and have him look- he may need to do an ultrasound of the breast to be sure- but if they have capsulated, the only remedy... (1 replies)

... It depends if they are saline or silicone implants. According to my PS, he said that saline implants need to be replaced ONLY if they rupture. Silicone is another story...I've heard 10 years is when you should consider replacing them. ... (3 replies)
... I just talked to my doc about when to replace saline implants - I've had mine just 2 years. He said they ONLY need to be replaced if they have ruptured (it's different for silicone). My guess is that even if you had yours replaced your skin would still do the same thing. But it probably doesn't hurt to have it checked out by the doc who did them (or any plastic surgeon). I...
