... Thanks for the reassurance guys:) I'm really hoping that is the way it is done where I will be having my surgery. I had a consult. with the anesthesiologist (manditory) and the way he described it to me was, you are awake when they take the tube out, but not "fully" out of the anesthesia. Since I have never had any sort of surgery before, I did not quite know what to make of... (15 replies)

... I just had the rhinoplasty in Nov07, and it only took me about 3 or 4 days for the bruising to be almost unnoticable, they recommended taking the herb called arnica, it helped sooooo much! ... (15 replies)
... CNCGuy, Good luck to you with your surgery. Please come back and post your experiences. I'd love to hear how it went. It sounds like my procedure will be very similar to yours except I believe my doctor does the "closed" kind of rhinoplasty. Are you at all nervous about being intubated? I think that will be the worst part for me. I'll be glad when it's over. I'm sure you... (15 replies)
... Hi all, I'm tentatively planning on having a rhinoplasty/septoplasty done at the beginning of June. I'm in the process of doing research and consultations, etc. right now to determine exactly what this procedure will be like. I'm the type of person who needs to be prepared for what to expect, and so far I've felt like the doctors I've talked to are sort of downplaying and... (15 replies)
... My nose is not perfect - and there are still some very subtle things that I would change if I could - but I am very very happy with my revision rhinoplasty. My nose looks entirely natural - no one would ever guess that I have had 3 surgeries. My (most recent) surgeon was Dr. Toriumi (Chicago) and I would definitely recommend him. I no longer feel concern over my nose and I... (2 replies)

... Hi all, this is my first time posting to this site, so sorry if I do anything wrong! I just had a consultation for a rhinoplasty today. The doctor showed me what my nose would likely resemble after the procedure using digital imaging. ... (1 replies)
... e two friends who both had their noses done by Dr. Norman Godfrey. They both think the world of him. From everything they told me, it sounds as if they had great experiences with him. Their noses look great too! Although I don't need my nose done, I'm actually thinking of seeing his brother, Dr. ... (15 replies)

... Lady Italian, Ok, thanks. I'll see what I can find:) Starfish (15 replies)
... Starfish, I don't recall the brand name, but I don't think it matters. When my doc told me to get it, they didn't specify a brand, I think it's all the same. Like if I told you to get some vitamin C tablets it really wouldn't matter what brand. (15 replies)
... Lady Italian, What is the brand name of your supplements? I know a place that sells lots of homeopathic products and I'd like to look for whatever worked for you. Sounds like a good idea. Thanks for the tip:) Starfish (15 replies)
... Thanks for the update CNCGuy, I was wondering how it all went for you:) Glad to hear everything is ok and it's over with. Now you are on the road to recovery. Good for you. Let us know how you like the final result when the cast comes off. Take care, Starfish (15 replies)
