I just had to jump in here also, I went with one of the best surgeons, beautiful before and after picture of how I wanted mine, result: horror and depression, he totally destroyed my nose, 4- revisions later; it's still awful, I don't go to social events anymore, I have Social Anxiety now and severe depression Please be careful! :( (3 replies)

... t sedation was begining to wear off during surgery so I too experienced the doctor breaking the bones and I even remember him talking. I was so happy to have the rhinoplasty done that I found that amusing, morbid fun!! I remember the doctor said more anesthesia and that knocked me off until the surgery was done. ... (9 replies)

I think the only thing not right for my face is the nose (and this only from side view); it bothers me because I believe it diverts the attention from the other features which are pretty nice. ... i had a crooked nose too and i chose to have it fixed. imo, if you dont fix it you will always wonder what it would be like. i have to say that since i have done this i feel 100x better about myself. i am so much more confident, i feel like i get more attention from people. i didnt care about getting attention before my surgery, i just wanted to be comfortable with myself... ... Would your surgery also require any tip reconstruction? I've had a pretty bad result from a septorhino last month, wherein a major portion of the tip cut off when I didn't even ask for it. I'm planning to see Gunter early next year (oh, the long wait) to see if any tip repair/reconstruction could be done. At any rate, could you please tell us what all work is requred for... (6 replies)
... I am going to have surgery with Dr. Jack Gunter in Dallas this March and can't wait for him to fix my previous botched nose jobs. I just wished I had done more research on my first doctor. Marc Schneider in Ft.Myers, Florida did my first three surgeries and they turned out horrible. I had faith that Schneider could fix my nose each time because he was always so confident....
