... Im sure some of you know my story by now. Had bottom molar extracted last Tuesday, ended up with dry socket. Now the tooth that was next to it feels loose or something, like if it put pressure on it with my tongue. So the dentist packs the dry socket 2 days in a row, it starts feeling better. ... ... Hmm... I think you should call your dentist and ask him specifically what he means by a 'membrane'. It should be guaze. I've had several teeth pulled over the years and the dentist has always put guaze in the socket. In fact, I just had a tooth extracted the day before yesterday and the dentist did the same thing.
