Hey gang, At a couple of the other forums I've frequented there was a thread like this one where we all sorta checked in each day, with our first cup of coffee to tea, and reported out fasting or waking blood glucose level and some short comment about whether we're ok with it or if not - why not?... ... Thank you for the input. Just to be clear: I have not bee diagnosed as diabetic, but my GP has said I need to monitor the situation because I am close to the prediabetic limit. As I am on a very healthy diet and have been for years, and I exercise daily, he said I might think about metformin as a preventative measure, since the numbers are still stubbornly in the 90's. ... I've continued to do a few more tests of the effect of exercise on my BG results over the past few weeks. I've reached the conclusion that with walking, I can expect to lower my BG about one point for each minute I walk.
