Hi,
I also made an attempt to be a vegetarian and also experienced the same symptoms when I quit eating meat. My blood pressure went down to 90 over 120 and I was constantly lethargic and weak!! Also, I took supplements and ate leafy green veggies, although probably not enough. I thought that meat was unhealthy through research, but my conclusion is that the pesticides and antibiotics that conventional meat contains is the culprit. Although your interest in meat is going away so I would maybe eat some total cereal every morning (100% dv of iron) and eat a little more greens. Although I still felt weak when I did this, but maybe it was all in my head! :confused: Also, when I stopped eating meat, I gained weight, I guess cause I was eating too many carbs because I hate tofu and virtually try to stay away from soy, the sound of the hormone inducing effect on the body gives me the hee-bee-gee-bees.
