... hey mandabear, yep, i'm a vegan. in addition to the veggies and fruits, i incorporate these things into my meals often for good fats and protein: beans, lentils, nuts and nut butters, seeds and seed butters (like sunflowerseed butter or tahini),soy "meats", tofu, tempeh, seitan (wheat gluten), hummus, and nutritional yeast, and whole grains i.e. spelt, rye, kamut, etc...
