... I have a similar strategy. High activity, high carbs, and low calories.. but on the other hand I am seeing vast improvements. Recently I've been pushing my carb levels a bit lower in favor of protein due to my weightlifting routine though. My advice to you is to keep a keen eye on when you take your carbs.
