But actually, I don't think I'll go the garage sale route :) -- I think the problem with that particular drink may have been too much celery and way too little of the other stuff (it was just a few leftover slices of apple, etc.). So may be a matter of proportion? But I don't want to give up on something potentially very beneficial... (8 replies)

... rowdy, My concern about juicing is that you need a VAST QUANTITY of veggies and fruits to get enough liquid to make it worth while. When you eat fruits and veggies in a chewable form (including fiber), you tend to self-limit on the quantities you eat. When you're juicing quantities to make a glass or two or three to drink, you're consuming the nutrients from LOTS more... (3 replies)
