... It depends on what your problem is. If it's a digestion problem then I might tend to agree with polkaadot. But if you're an older male who has a problem with frequent urination, I would stay away from fruit as a bedtime snack. Fruit by itself can have a diuretic effect that might keep you getting up several times during the night. (3 replies)

... Rosebud, Your dietary choices look fine too me, if EXPENSIVE for all that fruit. What calorie count do you calculates. It's hard for me to guesstimate becasue some of the items are a "handful" and a "serving, relative terms. ... The Chipotle doesn't seem too bad for a restaurant meal that one might have occasionally. Yes, the sodium is high and that alone would keep me from eating it everyday. Without actually seeing it, it seems like corn and rice together in the same meal might be a bit too starchy. If the lettuce is ice burg lettuce, it won't have a lot of nutrition. ... Hi John, Thanks for the reply. People with EoE can follow an elimination diet where they eliminate milk, egg, wheat, soy, peanuts/treenuts, and seafood (fish/shellfish). Apparently, these foods are common triggers for EoE which is inflammation (and narrowing) of the esophagus. In the elimination diet, there is no mention of removing other acidic foods from the diet.
