Too much fruit??

... s eating a banana daily, I see they are high in sugar. So I am just having 3 a week instead. But I am not giving up fruit, I think its ridiculous. I looked up fruits low in glucose, so I have an idea about whats too high. I have changed so instead of eating a banana with oatmeal I am adding berries to that. ... (6 replies)

... It depends on what your problem is. If it's a digestion problem then I might tend to agree with polkaadot. But if you're an older male who has a problem with frequent urination, I would stay away from fruit as a bedtime snack. Fruit by itself can have a diuretic effect that might keep you getting up several times during the night. (3 replies)

... Rosebud, Your dietary choices look fine too me, if EXPENSIVE for all that fruit. What calorie count do you calculates. It's hard for me to guesstimate becasue some of the items are a "handful" and a "serving, relative terms. Since all your protein is at night, except for the almonds, perhaps sticking in a morning preotein source might be a good idea. (22 replies)
