Hi Nanci, The big problem I have found taking antibiotics orally and especially strong ones like those used for getting rid of H pylori bacteria is that the antibiotics give me gastritis -- inflammation of the stomach lining and do in alot of the good friendly bacteria needed for digestion. I always have this problem with antibiotics and I have to treat it with probiotic... (81 replies)
