... If they are a Down's Mosaic, yes, more or less. None of the features of Down syndrome are NOT ones that wouldn't see scattered amongst the genetically normal public. And many Down mosaics can have normal intelligence. ... Audrey has nondisjunction, which is the most common type. I don't think Trisomy 21 alone is a real type of DS. Technically speaking they all have tri-21 which simply means there are 3 # 21 chromosomes. This can be in the form of nondisjunction, translocation, or mosaic, in order of commonality.
