... There are no drug-to-drug interactions with celexa and co-codamol, so you should be okay. If you have any other questions or need more professional advice you can always ask your local pharmacist- they know more about drug interactions than most doctors do! zuzu (1 replies)

... I have taken both drugs too, at the same time. Amitripyline, which is the generic of Elavil is taken to enhance pain meds. I take 50 mgs each night before going to bed. I would take it and not worry about it. Here is the U.S. doctors prescribe it all the time for patients to take with their pain meds. (3 replies)

... Hi guys, I was adviced to take codeine for pain but when I went to the chemist this morning they told me that I couldn't take codeine with my amitriptyline.
