... akjoha, Please post what you have posted here under High/Low Blood Pressure for Zip2play or Zuzu8, they have helped me tremendously over my medications, and are quite knowledgeable about hypertension medications. They may be able to give you some insight. (5 replies)

... Akjoha, Diastolic pressure is when your heart is fully relaxed and pressure in your vessels is lowest. All these meds can relax the blood vessels and thus make your pressure lower. See if your doctor will take you off the clonidine. This med is well known to cause tiredness(extreme in some cases-especially at your dose) & probably also can cause nausea.
