Hello, I am a 26 year old M who has always had really enlarged tonsils, and recently they became too bothersome (i.e. choking me at night as I slept every 20 or so minutes) and decided to go along with a tonsillectomy. ... I got my tonsils out when I was 21...I'm now 38. I never thought about the connection, but to tell you the truth, I rarely EVER have any plugging in my lower sinuses. He thought I probably had apnea. 2. I made the decision, he just recommended it. I asked for a sleep study first and sure enough, the study showed I had apnea. 3. Can't say I had a really bad...
