Well you should be eating 6 small meals a day to keep your metabolism moving.. Here is a sample diet that I have put people on which they were very successful.

Meal 1 - 4 egg whites with toast with fruits and veggies
Meal 2 - Protein shake (30 grams worth) fruits veggies
Meal 3 - Chicken breast with fruits and veggies
Meal 4 - Tuna sandwhich with milk
Meal 5 - Bagel with fruits and veggies
Meal 6 - Protein shake with fruits and veggies

This along with 3 litres of water a day and 4 days a week of cardio intense will lead you to a body you want. Space those meals by 2-3 hours and don't eat anything 3 hours before going to bed.
