I think if an Amsler grid is used correctly, you should be able to tell if the lines in your peripheral vision are there or not. ... light grey scotoma that covers everything below a roughly diagonal line running from the top right to lower left corners of the Amsler chart. I can see distorted lines through the centre of the black ring. I have no idea what all of that means but it makes me even more upset that I didn't get the op in February. ... (699 replies)
