I'm 20 years old and i have problem with my eyes. My doctor said me that i have blepharitis and i think that i have posterior blepharitis (MGD) because i don't see any scrubs, Redness of the eyelids . I was interested to read of the bumps (was it) on the eyelids. The tear ducts to which you refer are near the inner corner of your eye top and bottom near nose and there is one only on the top and bottom.

I really do not know whether the oil was gone or not. I had infection in the oil glands. Doc said I had "blepharitis" and dry eyes. Sure took a long time to clear the blepharitis.
