Though it's advertised as being preservative free "on contact", my left eye must again picked up some preservative. Still using the tranquileyes - which helps to some extent. ... Nik, whoops, forgot to ask you - do you wet the foam or anything for the tranquileyes? I suppose that might help. I guess it's because the steroid drops do help me that I'm seeking surgery. I know that I am much more productive when I use them - so I have a tendency to want to keep using them - which isn't good, as they can raise IOP, induce cataracts, etc. So, maybe... (29 replies)
... Scott Yeah the mask did help me, I can't sleep without it. I don't like the kinds of masks that press against the eye, I use one that 'cups' over them while still retaining moisture. I think with floppy eyelid syndrome, its important to prevent sleeping "on" your eyes, ie pressed on the pillow or adding pressure to the eyelids during sleep. Dr Tseng did give me eye shields...
