... Hi there. I just had Lasik eye surgery last Friday,with the punctal plugs put into my tear ducts. I haven't noticed a huge problem with dry eyes but I had them put in right away. I also use artificial tears about every 30min. Good luck I hope things get better. ... (19 replies)
... Wouldn't Lasik be just as risky for Retinal Detachment or more so? I was less apprehensive with a woman doctor than I would have been with a man. She uses a smaller laser, has smaller hands, and has done a lot of procedures on me, including the steroid injections into eyeballs. Sure hope you don't get a Retinal Detachment. I am having the same problems you are having and they are progressing to where it makes it very difficult to see at night to drive . One thing I wanted to know about yours. I have since then went and seen another doctor and I specificially asked them if this was a problem caused by my stroke and she stated absolutely not.
