... I have both allergies and dry eye. I have ended up with tons of the stringy white stuff in my eyes for years. I think a lot of it is caused by the dry eye. Your Opthomologist could diagnosis this officially if it is a problem for you. I use alot of saline drops in my eyes to help keep them lubricated. Mornings are worse for me. My eyes don't tear enough while I sleep.
