... You could try taking magnesium supplements. The chewable antacids have them along with the calcium. Lack of sleep can cause this too. I've had it off and on all my life and never worried about it, though it is annoying. But that doesn't mean it's not something worth seeing a doctor about. I started having the thumb twitch/muscle weakness later in life, and so it worries... (10 replies)
