... I agree that if your eye is pressed on something such as a pillow it "could" cause a serious erosion if one moves. But, what I do is place the pillow more on my forehead so there is almost like a gap between my eye and the bed (because my forhead presses on the pillow which helps apply a little downward pressure to keep my eyes closed). ... at first like there was a something crawling in it and then I said does it feel like sand and he said yes.
