... I have similar symptoms. Luckily the first time this happened was in the doctor's office and she diagnosed it as occular migraine. I get a heat sensation around the eyes but no pain. Sometimes, if it really interfers with your vision it requires surgery called a vitrectomy to correct the problem, which is an outpatient procedure which is what I had. I had a dopler done on my carotid artery and cranial arteries and they came back normal.
My son sees his heartbeat in his eyes also and I have a friend who sees the same.
In my humble opinion some people are more sensitive/aware of their vision. That heartbeat is like floaters, I don't pay attention to it, it's not there.
