... Josie: I'm now retired from optics but can tell U that alot of #'s & know-how go in to glasses. The 'whole Rx' is considered & takes knowledge. The cylinder reading on written rx is the astigmatism + axis. If hi # & off axis, the astig. changes. If U tilt frame-front wrong, it changes rx.
