... hi there yeah, i know a bit about Orth-K, my sister used it..but according to our optometrist i'm not suitable for it coz my myopia is too strong and my eye shape is unsuitable for it. but that is sort of one reason why i'm wondering if there is much difference between contact/glasses (health-wise). ... wasabi, My eyesight was almost identical to yours before my cataract surgery last summer. When you have a strong prescription, contac lenses will give you better vision in terms of side vision and making your sight close to natural good eyesight. I gave up contacs, though, in the 70's because of severe dry eyes. I always wonder if wearing the contacs contributed to the dry eye... (9 replies)
