... I have had this problem for the last couple of years during the Spring/Summer only. Basically, I wake up one morning with swollen and itchy eyelids (not the eye itself - just the eyelids). During the day the swelling goes down a bit, but the itchiness remains. Sometimes the itchiness and some swelling spreads to the area below the eye as well. This lasts for about 5-7 days... ... Someone else might know about drops, but a cool, wet face cloth, folded and laid across your eyes might help. I had the itchy eyes when pollen counts were high about 25-30 years ago, and that helped. But you really need to do something about the rubbing when you're awake and asleep. I believe you can damage the insides of your eye by putting so much pressure on it. Like... (3 replies)

... I have had extreme itching in just my left eye for about three or four days now. I've tried using allergy eye drops, but all that did was make it water more. Before I used the drops, it was pretty dry and itchy. Now it's watery and itchy! I do have mild allergies, but it seems like if that was what was causing this, it would be in both eyes. Has anyone else experienced... (0 replies)

... Hello - I've been having repeated episodes where my eye lid would get tingly, red, irriated and then itchy. Usually lasts for 3 days. It's not a stye (where it looks like a mini pimple), just red and sore on half of the length of the lid. This has been happening too often lately and I was wondering could be causing this. It's happened on both eyes (not at the same... (2 replies)

... Mani, I think I remember you. Did we communicate a long time ago on a thread here? Sorry to hear you are having the bleph problems. I've got the same stuff and yes, you can have itchy, red swollen eyelids. I haven't broken out in hives but the lids do itch and get pretty red. You could have some eczema on your eyelids too. You might try a cream for that. I would talk to a... (9 replies)
