... Hi Eagle Lots of questions so let me just jump right in. I had the victrectomy along with my 2nd detachment in my right eye, due to necessity (way too much junk floating around in there!). Mind you this was all back in 1986, so things may have change since then. But at the time yes, a gas buble was placed in the eye to hold the retina in place, and I had to be face down... (9 replies)
