Pinguecula -A pinguecula is a common type of conjunctival degeneration in the eye
there are lots of pictures that look very similar to what im experiencing - it says its caused from exposure to the sun and irritants over the years - I always wear sunglasses which makes this so much more confusing! but at least im getting somewhere!

You did the surgery almost 3 years ago and no ping has come back where you did the surgery? They said that 10 years ago there were a 50-60 % chans that it´ll come back, but now it´s 5%-20%. Your english is fine. You probably have pinguecula (very common). They look like yellow fleshy bumps in eye and when irritated red veins would feed to them. ... Good idea! Maybe I will try! BTW, all, I've rescheduled my appointment with Harvard Eye Institute for 9/26/06. If they feel removal is an option, I will have surgery the following day. While they say you can go right home after the surgery (I was told they don't even patch you eye!) I'm going to stay one more day just to chill out.
