... I only had two pinguecula, but something during surgery caused blood loss to my iris, which resulted in iris atrophy. I did not realize that the surgery entailed removing such a large portion of the sclera, which does not grow back. I think this is the case for any surgery that claims to be eye whitening or brightening. I hope this helps. (6 replies)
