If your insurance isn't very good, perhaps your doctor can refer you to another who can do it in his/her office. ... Sounds like you need a bit of PRK to touch that up as obviously that refractive error will not leave you with good distance vision. Depending on the corneal topography, PRK has to be approached very cautiously in post-RK patients. Has your Dr. indicated that there's any issues in doing the touch-up PRK to fully correct you?
