I'm 53 and waiting to see if my left eye will improve. diagonsis was retina refraction detachment. Which the retina specialist explained as the vitreous gel was attaching to my retina and not "sliding" off". There's a 50/50 chance it could get better with no surgery, so I'm just "waiting" to see.
